As flock sizes grow, weighing can quickly become a slow, stop-start job — affecting flow, adding pressure on labour and increasing stress on both operator and animal.

Ritchie sheep, lamb and pig weighers are designed to sit directly within your raceway, allowing you to record weights as part of your normal handling process — not as a separate task.

The entry gate slides upwards, allowing the animal to step onto a stable, unmoving floor. The weigh cage moves vertically on sealed bearings, with minimal movement in other directions. Increased access, combined with the ability to angle the weigh head left, right or forward, makes grading easier for the operator.

Live weight gain data can be recorded directly onto one of our EziWeigh or compatible indicator scales. All units feature a highly visible display, a bright red stable light to clearly identify when a steady weight has been reached, a fine mode for improved accuracy on lower weights, and auto power-off after 15 minutes to support longer battery life and faster charging.
