Ritchie Clamp Overview

The Ritchie Clamp is a versatile, mechanically operated sheep handling system designed for efficient, low-stress routine treatments.

A large foot treadle allows free operator movement while securely restraining the animal. The clamp width and linkage are fully adjustable to suit different sheep sizes and operator weights, making it easy to use for dagging, drenching, vaccinating, and tagging. Rubber flooring on both the clamp and lead-up ramp provides improved grip, quieter operation, and enhanced livestock welfare. The unit can be set up for left- or right-hand operation and includes a simple non-return hock bar for secure positioning.

Constructed from all-steelwork with a hot-dip galvanised finish, the Ritchie Clamp is durable, portable, and ergonomically designed. An auxiliary frame with orange tubs is included, with mounting provision for indicators, power draft controllers, and EID reader boxes.

The Ritchie Clamp includes the lead-up ramp as standard. Some images may show optional extras.
